The Crown Straps Story

Crown Straps was born from the need for a stylish, high quality, comfortable guitar strap that alleviates shoulder and back pain (a result of long tours and heavy guitars), prompting founder and designer Pip Matthews to create a new guitar strap that's slightly wider in the shoulder and upper back, adding Crown Straps' signature leather lined cushion for extra comfort and support.

Pip and the Crown Straps team are passionate about the traditional techniques of leather crafting, and every strap is made from start to finish by hand in our Melbourne studio.  

It's important to us to provide personal old school service to the online world.  It's a pleasure to meet and chat with people, share our love of creating, and of course, share our love of music!

The excitement over our guitar straps is fantastic.  We've worked hard to create a beautifully designed, high quality product and it's so cool that it's being so well received.
